DAY 1: Tehran

DAY 2: Tehran
Begin your vacation with a leisurely tour around The Golestan Palace and National Museum, then visit Jewel Museum or Contemporary Art Museum.

DAY 3: Tehran-Hamadan
Departing Tehran for Hamadan. In the morning visit Azadi Tower and Tajrish Bazaar (Closed on Fridays) where the local bazaar is. In Hamadan visit Abbas Abad Hill, with a view to the whole city. The past rulers used to celebrate their kingdom on this hill by playing big drums; this is why it is also called the “Nagharekhane Hill” (a place where traditional Persian music is played).

DAY 4: Hamadan-Kermanshah
Hamadan is one of the oldest cities, not only in Iran, but in the world. Its historical origins date back to several centuries before Christ.  Hamadan, was the summer capital of the Median. Departing Hamadan for Kermanshah, in the morning visit Ganjnameh, Avicenna Tomb, Stone lion, Esther and Mordecai Tomb, on the way to Kermanshah visit Bistoun and Taq-e Bostan.

DAY 5: Kermanshah-Ahvaz
Arrive in Shushtar in the late morning. Visit the Hydraulic system that dates back to 590 BC, move on to the Choqazanbil site and then tour around the ancient city of Susa.

DAY 6: Ahvaz-Shiraz
Departing Ahvaz for Shiraz one of the most historical sites of Iran, on the way to Shiraz visit Bishapoor, a historical city, and the Tange-Chowgan reliefs.

DAY 7: Shiraz
Explore Shiraz, a city which is well-known for its Persian lyrics, roses, cypresses and nightingales. Start your sightseeing at the beautifully decorated Nasir al-Mulk Mosque. Then continue to visit the 19th century Narenjestan Garden (Orangery). In the afternoon, visit the peaceful tomb and pavilion of the poets Hafiz and Saadi. Eventually, end your sightseeing in Shiraz’s conventional market the Vakil Bazaar (closed on Fridays) which still retains much of its 18th century character.

DAY 8: Shiraz
Visit Persepolis one of the world’s most magnificent archaeological sites. The site was the ceremonial capital of the Achemenid kings, featuring the remains of the palaces of Darius the Great, Xerexes and Artaxerxes the era is brought to life by bas reliefs of kings and courtiers from across the Persian Empire. At Naqsh-e Rustam, you can see four tombs and one building from Achaemenid dynasty with a group of ancient Iranian rock reliefs cut into the cliff from Sassanid dynasty, and on your way back to the hotel, visit Quran Gate.

DAY 9: Shiraz-Yazd
Departing Shiraz for Yazd a city which is internationally renowned for its silk, cotton, and woolen textiles, on the way visit Pasargadae and Aqazadeh a historical house in Abarkuh.

DAY 10: YAZD
In the morning, visit the famous Zoroastrian Towers of Silence. Plus, the marvelous adobe (mud and straw) architecture and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple. Then, immerse yourself in the splendor of Yazd’s Jame Mosque with the highest portal and minarets in Iran which dates back to the 14th century. Then you can stroll through the old town of Yazd and then visit Dolat Abad’s windtowers.

DAY 11: Yazd-Isfahan
Departing Yazd for Isfahan, the most cultural city of Iran which is also called “Half of The World” due to its many sightseeing spots and cultural monuments. On the way to Isfahan you will visit the castle of Meibod, Nain’s Jaame Mosque and Ethnological Museum of Nain.

DAY 12: Isfahan
This stunning 17th century Isfahan capital city of Safavid offers you a whole parade of wondrous sights. Isfahan’s Jame Mosque, ancient bridges, the Armenian Quarter with its churches and the cathedral of Vank. At the end, you can walk around the Grand Bazaar on your own.

DAY 13: Isfahan
Isfahan’s moment of glory came in 4 centuries ago, which brings a great deal of unspoiled sites. Starting at the Chehel Sotun Garden, then walking a short distance to an attractive square framed by the Imam Mosque, which is renowned as the supreme perfection of Islamic architecture on one side, and the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque with its colorful detailed tile work ranking among the best in the world on the other. At the end of the day visit Ali Qapu Palace.

DAY 14: Isfahan-Tehran
Depart Isfahan for Tehran, on the way you will visit Natanz, a quiet mountain town which was Safavid kings favorite hunting spot. Visit Natanz’s Jame Mosque which is one of the most magnificent mosques in Iran. In addition, it has carried out decorated portal of 13th century with beautiful blue tiles and Islamic calligraphy. Then visit Abyaneh village which goes back to adobe (mud and straw) houses. Next, continue to Kashan, which is supposed to be the epitome of every relevant aspect of Persia. On arrival, visit the city’s lovely Fin Garden. In the late afternoon you will arrive in Tehran.   P.S: Saffron farms in Natanz can be also visited BUT only during October and November.
